Man, 31, charged in connection with sexual assault of woman in Paisley

Paisley sexual assault

A man has been charged in connection with the sexual assault of a woman in Paisley.

A 31-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident that happened around 1.30am on Sunday, July 31 at the Forbes Place area of the town.

The victim, a 41-year-old woman, was left shaken as a result of the incident and is currently being provided support by specialist officers.

The man is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 2 August, 2022.
