A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of nine-year-old Olivia Pratt-Korbel.
Police carried out warrants at three properties in the West Derby area earlier today, Thursday, September 8. Officers arrested a 29-year-old man on suspicion of assisting an offender.
He was taken into custody where he will be questioned by detectives and searches of the three properties are continuing. Four other men who were linked to the murder of Olivia Pratt-Korbel were conditionally bailed on Wednesday.

Detectives investigating the shooting were given a rare extension to question three of the men arrested but the force has now released them due to a lack of evidence. One of the people bailed, includes a 34-year-old man, from Runcorn, arrested on suspicion of murdering the child.
The others released include a 34-year-old man, from Liverpool, a 41-year-old man, from Knowsley, and a 29-year-old man, who were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and questioned by police.
Olivia was at home with her mum and older siblings in Kingsheath Avenue, Dovecot, when a gunman burst through the door at around 10pm on Monday, August 22. The killer was in pursuit of 35-year-old Joseph Nee, who forced his way into the house after noticing Olivia's mum, 46-year-old Cheryl Korbel, open the door to see what was going on outside.
The investigation into Olivia's tragic murder is ongoing and police said they still need to build up a strong evidential picture so they can bring those responsible to justice.
