A young man is fighting for life after being stabbed by suspects on mopeds in west London.
The 21-year-old was attacked in residential Clancarty Road, Fulham in broad daylight at 3.35pm on Sunday.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said he was taken to hospital for treatment where he remains in a life-threatening condition.
The knifemen are still at large having fled the scene on a road where family houses sell for £2 million.
Detectives believe the incident might be gang-related but could not say if robbery is a motive.
The stabbing took place yards from Ecole Marie d’Orliac, the French independent primary school, busy Wandsworth Bridge Road and leafy Parson Green.
A crime scene is cordoned off.
Users on X, formerly Twitter, spoke of their shock that it happened “in Fulham on a Sunday afternoon”. One asked if any borough in London is now considered safe.
