Police have confirmed that a 21-year-old man has died following a motorcycle crash in Wigan. Cops sealed off Spring Road — near the town’s Heinz factory — from 2.45pm this afternoon. Tragically, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. It is thought he came off a blue Yamaha motorcycle.
Police say his family have been informed, and are being supported by specially trained officers. Now, detectives are appealing for witnesses — or anyone who was at the scene but left without speaking to the police — to come forward.
