A police raid at a house in Kirkby led to a man being arrested on suspicion of drug offences.
Officers from the dedicated County Lines investigation team carried out a warrant at a premises on Spinney View this morning (Monday).
A 21-year-old man from Kirkby was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to Supply Class A and B drugs; and possession of criminal property. He was taken to a police station for questioning.

The arrests forms part of an operation to target suspected organised criminals involved in County Lines drug dealing and operating from the Kirkby area.
Detective Inspector Gary Stratton, who leads our County Lines Investigation team, said: “This operation means we can expand our commitment to cutting harmful County Lines and such activity will continue, targeting those we suspect of bringing misery onto our streets.
"County Lines drug dealing not only affects the lives of the drug users, but also the communities in which they operate and the young and vulnerable people who are exploited by these criminals.
"We hope today's arrest sends a message out to others involved in this type of criminality that we will take action and you will be arrested and put before the courts."
