Mamma Mia! bosses have insisted they could "find a way" to bring Meryl Streep back to the franchise.
The Only Murders in the Building actress played Donna Sheridan in the first film, 2008's Mamma Mia!, and though she was killed off prior to the events of 2018 sequel Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again - which featured Streep appearing in dream sequences and Lily James playing the character in flashbacks - Universal Pictures have confirmed there will be a third movie and they are open to bringing back the screen legend in some capacity.
