From Hot To Not star Mama June has defended her daughter Honey Boo Boo's relationship with her boyfriend who is four years her senior.
Alana Thompson, 17, who is best-known as Honey Boo Boo from her Toddlers and Tiaras days, has been dating Dralin Cresswell for around two years.
Since the young couple went public with their relationship online, they have faced backlash from fans, with some judging Dralin's appearance, and other's in disagreement with the couple's age gap.
But Honey Boo Boo's mum, who is known as Mama June, has defended "good guy" Dralin and urges that she hasn't noticed anything that "throws her off".
The 43-year-old TV star, who shot to fame alongside her daughter on Toddlers and Tiaras and Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, addressed the age gap romance.
Speaking to MailOnline, Mama June said: "He is older than her but honestly for me, Dralin has a very young mentality. He has a very teenage mentality, if that makes sense."
Elsewhere in her chat with the paper, Mama June spoke of how some boys mature at a later age than women, adding that Dralin is "one of those boys" in her eyes.
This comes just weeks after Alana attended her high school prom with her 21-year-old boyfriend Dralin Carswell, whom she posed beside for a sting of snaps ahead of attending the event.
TMZ report that Alana's beau was arrested earlier this year for drinking under the influence, which came after a police chase while the Honey Boo Boo star was in the car.
At the time of Honey Boo Boo posting some snaps from the big day on Instagram, fans all said the same thing about her beau.
Standing beside his younger girlfriend, Dralin could be seen looking a little more casual than Alana, who donned a pink sparkly frock.
While Honey donned the bejewelled pink gown with her hair and makeup styled to perfection, her boyfriend wore black jeans, a white polo shirt and some white trainers.
Fans were quick to pick up on the stark differences between the couple's outfits, with one writing: "That's what he wore?" complete with a face-palm emoji.
"Beautiful. Why is your boyfriend not dressed up?" asked a second.
"Why is your prom date in jeans and a t-shirt?" pressed a third.
