Maluma Welcomes Second Child With Susana Gómez, Reveals Baby Boy's Celestial Name

Maluma is officially a father of two.

The Colombian superstar and his longtime partner, Susana Gómez, welcomed their second child, a baby boy named Orión Londoño Gómez, on Monday, September 14, 2026.

The singer announced the arrival on social media one day later, sharing the newborn's full name and birth date in an elegantly styled message accompanied by a blue heart emoji.

"𝒪𝓇𝒾ó𝓃 ℒ𝑜𝓃𝒹𝑜ñ𝑜 𝒢ó𝓂𝑒𝓏. 🩵 𝟷𝟺/𝟶𝟿/𝟸𝟼," Maluma wrote.

The brief announcement immediately drew congratulatory messages from fans celebrating the newest addition to the artist's family. Maluma and Gómez are already parents to daughter Paris Londoño Gómez, who was born in Medellín on March 9, 2024, and is now a big sister at two years old.

Orión's arrival comes four months after the couple publicly confirmed that they were expecting another child. On May 10, Mother's Day in Colombia, Maluma posted a black-and-white photograph showing him and Paris kissing Gómez's baby bump. He captioned the family portrait with only a blue heart, initially leaving fans to interpret the announcement.

Days later, the singer confirmed in an interview with Billboard that the baby was a boy. He also revealed that the couple had kept the pregnancy private for five months so they could experience its early stages away from public attention.

Maluma, whose real name is Juan Luis Londoño Arias, said at the time that learning he would have a son brought him a different kind of happiness. He explained that his father and grandfather were particularly excited because the family name would continue through another generation.

The birth marks another milestone for Maluma, who has repeatedly described becoming a father as one of his greatest dreams. After welcoming Paris in 2024, he said parenthood had transformed his priorities, giving him new motivation while encouraging him to take better care of himself and set an example for his daughter.

The 32-year-old artist has also made his Colombian identity central to his family life. Both he and Gómez are from Medellín, and Maluma previously said he wanted his second child, like Paris, to be born in Colombia.

He has frequently celebrated his hometown and paisa roots throughout his career, music and public appearances.

Gómez is a Colombian architect and interior designer who has been romantically linked to Maluma since 2020. Although the couple has generally kept its relationship away from the spotlight, Gómez has accompanied the singer to selected public events, including awards ceremonies and industry celebrations.

The arrival of Orión follows an important period in Maluma's professional life. Earlier this year, he released Loco X Volver, a deeply personal album inspired by his family, Colombian heritage and emotional journey. He also announced a new song with Shakira called 'Agua'-

During interviews surrounding the project, the singer spoke candidly about experiencing anxiety and panic attacks after years of almost uninterrupted touring, as well as the role that therapy and fatherhood played in changing his life.

Maluma and Gómez have not publicly disclosed additional details about Orión's birth, including his weight or the precise time he was born. For now, the couple's carefully chosen announcement centers on his celestial name, his birth date and the blue heart that has symbolized this new chapter since the pregnancy was revealed.

With Orión's arrival, Maluma, Susana and Paris officially become a family of four.
