Malik Tillman 'set for' Premier League with Rangers in line for windfall

Rangers remain firmly in line to pocket a transfer windfall from Malik Tillman's movements this summer.

And according to reports, the Ibrox club could see a cash boost in relation to the American's future in the coming weeks.

Bayern Munich are hoping to sell Tillman for at least £10million this transfer window - which is double the amount they had agreed with Rangers last summer as part of his season-long loan deal.

The Scottish Sun states that the German giants aim to do this by flogging the 21-year-old straight to the Premier League.

Brighton and Brentford are interested in the playmaker, so Bundesliga champions Bayern are hoping for a bidding war.

Rangers were denied the chance to sign Tillman permanently this summer as Bayern changed the terms of their deal.

As a result, the Light Blues were compensated with £1million up front and 10 per cent of any future sale.

Michael Beale was keen to take Tillman back to Glasgow after he impressed greatly in Scotland last term, winning PFA Young Player of the Year.

But the Gers gaffer has quickly turned his attentions elsewhere as he continues his squad rebuilds prior to the season officially starting on August 5.

Sam Lammers, Dujon Sterling, Kieran Dowell, Jack Butland and Abdallah Sima have all already joined the club.

Other targets such as Cyriel Dessers are getting closer, while deals for Jose Cifuentes and Danilo may take a little longer to complete.
