Rangers are set to bank a £1million-plus bonus as former Ibrox loan star Malik Tillman closes in on a move to the English Premier League.
Brentford and Brighton are set to slug it out for Tillman as Bayern Munich cash-in on the USA international. The Bundesliga giants gave Gers the option to buy Tillman when they loaned the playmaker to them last season but Bayern bought back that option and the Light Blues will also get a cut of Tillman’s next sale. Rangers boss Michael Beale had hoped to keep the PFA Scotland young player of the year in the Scottish Premiership, but that has looked increasingly unlikely.
Meanwhile, Cyriel Dessers is set to check in at Ibrox in the coming days. Gers have agreed a fee with Italian club Cremonese and terms with the Nigerian striker, who is expected to travel with the Light Blues to their German pre-season training camp.
Rangers saw a bid for Feyenoord striker Danilo knocked back but Dessers was always their top target. Reports in Italy have linked Ibrox star Ianis Hagi with a move to Lecce.
