Mali violence escalates: Defence minister Sadio Camara killed in 'terrorist attack'

The security crisis in Mali escalated further after defence minister Sadio Camara was killed in an attack on his residence in Kati on Saturday, according to RFI Radio reports.

The killing comes amid a wave of coordinated strikes involving separatist fighters and Al-Qaeda-linked militants that targeted the capital Bamako and several other cities across the country.
