RAJGIR: Malaysia grabbed their first win of the 2024 Women’s Asian Champions Trophy after they beat South Korea 2-1 in the opening encounter of the third day of the tournament at the Rajgir Sports Complex on Thursday.
South Korea captain Eunbi Cheon opened the scoring for the world No. 15 side through a field goal at the end of the first quarter. But Malaysia equalised in the 36th minute through Muhamad Zati and then took the lead in the 51st minute when Mohammed Nur sounded the board.
