JAIPUR: Malaria was one of the most fatal diseases till 2010 in the country as more than 1,000 people were dying every year. After that mortality rate and cases have reduced significantly.
In Rajasthan too, the cases of malaria have decreased rapidly causing just one fatality in five years from 2017 to 2021.
