A limbless transgender woman’s awe-inspiring makeup routines shared on social media have highlighted her resilience as she promotes a heartwarming message of self-acceptance while advocating for her community.
25-year-old Briel Adams-Wheatley is from Utah, USA, but was born in Brazil with Hanhart Syndrome.
According to the National Organization for Rare Disorders, Hanhart syndrome is a rare condition characterized by a short, incompletely developed tongue; absent or partially missing fingers and/or toes; malformed arms and/or legs; and an extremely small jaw.

Briel was reportedly adopted by an American Mormon family and now lives in Salt Lake City with her husband Adam and pet dog Malibu, where she creates content on social media that has grown to become quite popular.
Identifying as transgender, Briel has not only shared her incredible makeup and beauty routines but also documented the process of her transition on social media.
Taking to her TikTok page earlier this month, where she’s followed by 4.6 million users, Briel posted a video that showcased how she applied a full face of makeup without using her hands for an “Ariana Grande-inspired” look.
Briel impressively filmed herself performing a cartwheel before getting to work on her face, using her mouth as a tool to elaborately paint her face, a technique her followers have become familiar with.
The makeup savant grew up in a family composed of 12 siblings after being given away by her biological Brazilian mother, who wasn’t able to afford her medical treatments, the Daily Mail reported.
In 2019, Briel reportedly posted her first makeup tutorial on YouTube, later expanding to TikTok, where she quickly became a viral sensation.

Speaking on the Luke and Sassy Scott podcast recently, Briel said: “I do not wear prosthetics.
“The doctors just kept staying there’s nowhere for them to attach to, so what’s the point?
“I’ve just become so independent already without them that I just don’t even see the point.”
“I have no arms, and I’m still doing anything and everything that I want to do in my life.
“There should be no excuse for anyone else to not just live their lives.”
Briel and her husband, Adam, met in 2021 and married in June of the same year when they “instantly connected,” as per the Daily Mail.

The Brazilian native has not only made a name for herself as a beauty influencer but also as an anti-bullying figure after experiencing online trolls who have pushed her to consider suicide in the past.
She told LGBTQ+ publication Queerty: “I would come home in tears because people would make fun of me for the fact I have no arms or legs.
“One day, my mum was like, ‘I need you to look in the mirror and name ten things you like about yourself.
“‘Then I want you to go to school and pick ten people and say one nice thing about them.’
“Just doing that generated this positivity in my life that made me strive to do better and be happy for myself so I could give my best to everybody else.”
