A celebrity makeup artist with over 10 years experience in the industry has lifted the lid on her beauty secrets. Sally Rowe was a teen model and picked up some of her make-up skills on shoots, and her first celebrity client was former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan.
She has worked on red carpet events including the BAFTAs and Pride of Britain Awards, magazine shoots and TV shows including the consumer series For Love or Money presented by Kym Marsh. She has worked with former Coronation Street and Strictly star Kym and her singer daughter Emilie Cunliffe and her clients also include Corrie's Catherine Tyldesley, Katie McGlynn, Samia Longchambon, Sair Khan and Tisha Merry, presenter Melanie Sykes and Gavin and Stacey star Joanna Page.
"When I was younger I was a model and I used to create my own looks using Avon. I've done it for years. For years I got my hair and makeup done but never did I think it would be what I'd do for a living," she told us.

For years Sally, 51, ran a cafe, where she worked from the age of 16, and her life changed after a glamorous customer inspired her to pursue a career as a makeup artist at the age of 37. "I took a night course and my first celebrity client was Helen Flanagan," she said.
"I lose myself in makeup and I'll do a different look every time. "I would love to go to LA and do makeup and I have a dream of working on the Met Gala."
Sally has shared her surprisingly simple top tips to looking red carpet ready. "Good skin and preparation," she said. "Drink lots of water - drink three litres a day - and exfoliate."
Sally says her favourite current makeup trend is the reverse cat eye, also known as fox eye makeup. The look is a modern take on regular winged liner but with the focus on the lower lash line that wings out at the corner to create a striking feline shape.
Sally has teamed up with fellow beauty whizz Jade Goddard of JLG Cosmetics to launch the Sally Rowe Hero Collection next month. In 2018 Jade, 37, set up Lashed by JLG Cosmetics, an ethical makeup company which refuses to use animal-sourced products, such as mink lashes.
The company's fake lashes, without the use of animal fur and with vegan glue, have been worn by famous faces including Dancing On Ice and RuPaul's Drag Race star The Vivienne and The Watcher and The White Lotus star Jennifer Coolidge. The lashes have also been supplied to Strictly Come Dancing, Coronation Street, Emmerdale and EastEnders. Jade said: "Three years ago we chatted and we just clicked. I'm into the law of attraction and it's onwards and upwards."
