The latest report by the United Nation's Human Rights Office on the war in Gaza found that nearly 70 percent of Palestinians killed by Israel Defense Forces from November 2023 to April 2024 were women and children, with the youngest victim being a day-old baby boy and the oldest a 97-year-old woman.
Nearly 44 percent of the deaths in Gaza have been children. The largest group were children ages five to nine, followed by ages 10 to 14, and newborns to four-year-old children.
