It's hard not to sense the enormity of this year's Sydney Marathon, says Australian athlete Jess Stenson.

At least 35,000 are set to take on the first running of the Sydney Marathon as a World Major on Sunday, with the elite field to be the best in quality since the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
