DOZENS of high-profile figures including Noel Gallagher, Susan Sarandon, Kneecap and Irvine Welsh have urged the UK Government to appoint an independent international mediator to resolve the Garvaghy Road dispute.
In an open letter to the Northern Ireland Secretary Chris Bryant, the 43 signatories warn that "we cannot afford to step backward" and argue that negotiations have reached an impasse following the collapse of talks at Hillsborough Castle.
