A major search operation is underway along the Donegal coast after reports of a missing woman.
Gardaí in Letterkenny are conducting the search with the assistance of the Foyle search and rescue team.
Rescue 118 assisted with the mission on Monday evening, but as a result of fading light, the search was stood down.
The search is expected to resume again this morning.
A garda spokesperson told the Irish Mirror: "Gardaí in Letterkenny are conducting a search and being assisted by the Foyle search and rescue team in relation to a search for a reported missing woman.
"Rescue 118 assisted yesterday evening, Monday 14th November, 2022 but as a result of fading light the search was stood down.
"The search is expected to resume again this morning, Tuesday 15th November, 2022."
