Major revamp of famous landmark in Scottish city centre put on hold

MAJOR transformation work on a famous landmark at Glasgow’s Central Station has been paused.

Network Rail has confirmed that work to introduce multi-coloured shops and neon lights as part of a major revamp of Hielanman’s Umbrella has been put on hold following a review of the plans.
