Ashok Adikoppula, a former cricketer who played in Hyderabad A division and in the Sussex Invitational League in UK, faced an unusual problem when he moved to the US, for a job, around two decades back. He could not find a local cricket club or team near his home in Arkansas.
"I realised then that while in most of the major cities of the US one could find a field nearby; cricket enthusiasts had to travel hours to play the game if they lived in second tier cities or small towns," he says.
