The star of the match was Heinrich Klaasen, who etched his name in the history books by scoring the first-ever century in MLC, leading his team to an incredible win.
The Seattle Orcas won the toss and opted to bowl first. MI New York got off to a shaky start, losing opener Monank Patel (2) early in the third over, followed by Shayan Jahangir (19) shortly after failing to capitalise on his start.
