A major deal has been signed to kick start the first phase of the £70m Littlewoods film studio project.
Developer Capital&Centric has entered into a partnership to lead the scheme with the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority and Liverpool City Council.
The move comes after the combined authority approved £8m of funding for remediation, design and planning for the project as part of a total funding package of £17m.
