In a class with several five star prospects already, Ohio State football just landed another in its 2025 class with the commitment of five-star linebacker, Riley Pettijohn on Saturday.
Out of McKinney, Texas, Pettijohn is ranked as the No. 4 linebacker and 31st overall prospect in the 2025 class according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. His recruitment seemed to come down to Ohio State and USC, but in the end, the Buckeye leaves began to point towards Columbus just ahead of the announcement.
Pettijohn makes the 23rd commitment for the cycle and fourth five-star commitment for the Buckeyes, leading all programs. It keeps the class out ahead as the No. 1 class in the country as it stands today with a legimate shot at finishing at the top class this year.
