A MAJOR coastal route between Largs and Greenock remains closed after being severely damaged during Storm Boelo.

The A78 Shore Road between Skelmorlie and Largs will stay shut in both directions following damage to the carriageway and sea wall during the storm, which struck on Sunday, October 25.
