Maite Perroni is returning to the movies with Belleza, a film about women, body image and the often brutal expectations surrounding beauty. And one of the women joining her on screen is someone who has been cheering her on from the sidelines for years: Fernanda Castillo.
The two Mexican stars are longtime friends, but Belleza gives them the opportunity to work together in a major film for the first time. Castillo told this reporter that the experience allowed them to discover something new in a relationship that already existed off camera.
