Mahmood calls for urgent review of security for politicians and royals

Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood has said that security arrangements for high-profile public figures including politicians and royals will be reviewed urgently.

Ms Mahmood provided an update to House of Commons on Monday, October 12, detailing future safety arrangements. Her comments follow the killing of Ann Widdecombe and an alleged terror plot against Reform UK leader Nigel Farage.
