MUMBAI: The 'Mahayuti', consisting of the BJP, Shiv Sena (under the leadership of Eknath Shinde faction), NCP, and all other allied parties, is scheduled to hold a two-day meeting in Mumbai on August 31 and September 1. This meeting of the ruling parties coincides with the meeting of the Opposition alliance, INDIA.

During a press conference at the party's state headquarters on Tuesday, BJP's Prasad Lad announced that the purpose of the meeting is to conduct a review of all the Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra, which totals 48 seats.

On August 31, a dinner meeting has been arranged at Varsha, the chief minister's official residence, for all elected representatives. Subsequently, on September 1, a day-long regional review will take place at the NSCI Dome in Worli. These meetings will be chaired by chief minister Eknath Shinde, deputy chief ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, along with senior leaders from the three parties. All elected representatives from Maharashtra are expected to attend.

In the first half of the day, meetings will focus on Mumbai and Konkan, Vidarbha, and Marathwada. In the latter half, the regions of Western Maharashtra and North Maharashtra will undergo review.
