Mahatma Gandhi’s great-grandson Tushar Gandhi detained ahead of Mumbai protest backing CJP

Mumbai Police detained activist Tushar Gandhi and several others on Saturday prior to a scheduled demonstration at August Kranti Maidan. The gathering was organized to express solidarity with the Cockroach Janta Party’s (CJP) protest targeting Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar.

An official confirmed that Tushar Gandhi, head of the organization ‘Hum Bharat Ke Log’ and Mahatma Gandhi's great-grandson, was taken into custody from Bandra and moved to the DN Nagar police station.
