Maharashtra: Three booked for wrongful confinement of photojournalist in Kharghar

NAVI MUMBAI: The Kharghar police registered an FIR against three persons running an 'illegal' roadside eatery opposite Tata hospital near Owe village in Kharghar for wrongful confinement of a photojournalist after he clicked photographs of the eatery that was partly demolished by Cidco during anti-encroachment drive, on August 2.

The complainant photojournalist Krishnachandra Singh (57), residing in Taloja, has alleged that on August 2 around 12.30pm, he was on field duty in Kharghar when he noticed that a roadside eatery 'Star Dhaba' was partly demolished with its roof razed down during Cidco's anti-encroachment drive.
