MUMBAI: With a contest heating up between the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) and BJP for the sixth Rajya Sabha seat from Maharashtra, all parties are set to corral MLAs in hotels till Thursday in a bid to protect their numbers.
Shiv Sena which had arranged to move its contingent to a five-star in South Mumbai from June 8 to 10 has instead checked them into an isolated resort in Malad. The Sena’s 55 MLAs had stayed in the same Malad resort during the period of government formation in the state in 2019.
