THANE: Shiv Sena district chief and former mayor of Thane Naresh Mhaske on Saturday resigned from office as the district chief in support of Rebel leader Eknath Shinde.

In a message to the party chief minister Uddhav Thackeray, Mhaske has declared he adorned Hindutva.
