New Delhi: Amid a tussle in the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), the workers of the party on Thursday removed old posters which had of Ajit Pawar, Praful Patel alongside Sharad Pawar from outside the office premises in New Delhi.
The student wing of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) strung up a poster outside the Delhi office depicting the iconic betrayal scene from the film Baahubali. The poster depicted a “gaddaar” stabbing another person in the back.
The scene from Baahubali was utilised by the Rashtrawadi Vidyarthi Congress to show Praful Patel as ‘Kattappa’, who stabbed Baahubali – in this case Sharad Pawar – in the back. The poster also had ‘gaddaar’ or traitor written in big, bold letters in Hindi.
Notably, NCP president Sharad Pawar is in Delhi on Thursday for a national executive meeting.
With the NCP witnessing the unraveling of the party, the Pawar family feud played out on stage on Wednesday as NCP factions headed by Sharad Pawar and his nephew held rival meetings at Yashwantrao Chavan Centre in south Mumbai and in Bhujbal Knowledge City in suburban Bandra, respectively.
