Maharashtra govt approves Rs 148 crore for integrated solid waste project for Ambernath, Badlapur and Ulhasnagar cities

THANE: The Maharashtra government has approved Rs 148 crore for an ambitious advanced integrated solid waste management project for the cities of Ambernath, Badlapur and Ulhasnagar to solve the problem of solid waste.

The integrated solid waste management project will be set up for these three cities at a 13 acre plot situated in Valivali area in Badlapur city which will have capacity of 600 metric tons of garbage.
