Maharashtra: Fortnight to redress public grievances

MUMBAI: The state government has declared 'services fortnight' from September 17, birthday of PM Narendra Modi, to October 2, birth date of Mahatma Gandhi. The decision aims at clearing long-pending applications from the public.

Fourteen services will be prioritised including distribution of compensation for flood-affected, access to the Prime Minister Kisan Yojana, receiving ration cards, marriage certificates, approvals for taps, property tax payments, certificates for the handicapped and so on.
