PUNE: Warning against sharing voters’ Aadhaar details in public domain, the chief electoral office under the Election Commission of India (ECI) said strict disciplinary action would be taken against the officials daring to do so.
“To ensure that there is no leakage of Aadhaar data, the numbers would be stored in Licensed Aadhaar Vault hired by ECI (Election Commission of India) in accordance with relevant regulations of UIDAI,” said a senior official of the chief electoral office(CEO) in the state that is under ECI.
