Maharashtra CM unveils logo for Nashik Kumbh Mela, says 'grand and divine' event in offing

Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Wednesday said his government was preparing to organise a "grand and divine" Kumbh Mela with adequate facilities for devotees and saints as he unveiled the official logo for the upcoming mega gathering.

Fadnavis maintained the government was working in coordination with 'akharas' (Hindu monastic orders) and religious leaders to ensure smooth arrangements for the spiritual congregation, which takes place after every 12 years.
