Maharashtra CEO announces measures to enrol eligible voters, dispose of claims and objections

Mumbai: The office of the Maharashtra Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) has announced a series of special measures to "ensure" that no eligible voter is left out of the electoral roll and no ineligible person remains on it.

The measures are being implemented by voter registration officers across the state in accordance with the directions of the Election Commission of India, the CEO's office said on Thursday.
