NAGPUR: Quite a few candidates from Vidarbha have cleared the UPSC exams, the gateway to coveted civil service jobs. The merit list was declared on Monday, based on the result of the written part of Civil Services Examination, 2021, and the interviews for Personality Test held in April-May, 2022.
Sumit Ramteke (28), who hails from a small village called Shirpur in Yavatmal district, is among the 685 candidates from across the country who have been recommended for appointment. Around 60 candidates, including five in top 100, are from Maharashtra.
