'Magnolia retirement home' transformed with colour and open for Eurovision fans

It's not easy letting strangers into your personal space, but when you've put in as much care as one south Liverpool couple, it would be a shame not to show it off.

The ECHO's Where I Live series explores one house from across the region each week, with its owner giving us an insight into what makes a house a home.

Sally Ayres, 37, and boyfriend Joshua Raven, 32, nabbed their Wavertree home, known as 'Dawstones' for £335,000, and have since transformed it into a vibrant explosion of colour that they're now ready to unleash on the world.
