A safety recall involving roughly 213,500 "Goody King" magnetic toy sets was announced in the U.S. after reports that defective parts caused severe injuries, requiring surgery for at least two young children.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission warned that the product's building blocks are prone to cracking or splitting open, leaving small internal magnets loose and creating a critical ingestion hazard for children.
