America's Got Talent star Scott Alexander has died after suffering a stroke while working onboard a cruise ship.
The magician heartbroken wife confirmed the devastating news in a statement on social media telling her followers: "I lost my husband yesterday".
In the post, Jenny shared pictures of Scott with his children, and added: "My kids lost their father. He suffered a stroke while working on a cruise ship in St Kitts and did not make it home to us.
"We are shattered. Please hold us in your prayers."
Scott rocketed to fame after appearing season six on the US version of the talent show back in 2011 and Jenny acted as his assistant, writes The Mirror.
Many of his fans have left messages of support and sympathy for his family, with one writing: "So So Sorry for your loss. Please accept my most sincere Condolences."
Someone else commented: "Jenny, please let us know what we can do for you. This community of makers will rally around and support you. Anything you need."
"I'm sitting here in shock staring at my computer screen. Jenny, my heart is heavy thinking of you and your kids. I will be praying for you all for strength. "God Bless you, your kids and may your husband always be your guardian angel!!!!," replied a third.
Another of Jenny's followers wrote: "So incredibly sorry for all of you. There are just not adequate words…. I’m stunned."
