A woman received a storm of criticism from MAGA for criticising the Trump administration’s cuts to SNAP benefits and other essential programs. However, that post, alongside others on the woman’s social media, ended up raising thousands of dollars for charities across the United States. Now, she’s receiving the American Nurses Association’s President’s award.
“It’s almost like advocating for the communities we serve is the whole entire point. What an absolute honor it is to even be considered for this,” said Jen Hamilton (@_jen_hamilton_). She is a labor and delivery nurse whose videos on platforms like TikTok and Facebook have gotten millions of views.
