Married at First Sight (MAFS) star Tayah Victoria is in hospital days after giving birth to her first child with her fiancé, who she met on the show.
Tayah, 26, who appeared in last year's UK series, told her Instagram followers yesterday that she has mastitis, following the birth of her daughter, Beau Emily Aveling, on October 7.
Tayah, who met and fell in love with Adam Aveling on the show, which sees members of the public matched up with strangers by experts, shared a photo of Beau being cuddled by her auntie in hospital.
She wrote in the caption: "Auntie Em came to visit this weekend but unfortunately spending quality time in hospital as I have mastitis [single tear emoji]."
Mastitis is when a breast becomes swollen, hot and painful, and is most common in breastfeeding women, the NHS website says.
Those with mastitis may get flue-like symptoms such as aches and tiredness.
On Tuesday, Tayah announced the birth of her daughter, sharing a sweet picture on her Instagram.
In the image, the happy couple are smiling while the Adam cradles his newborn daughter.
Another snap gives fans a close up look at the bundle of joy as she's wrapped in a fluffy pink blanket.
As the proud new mum posted the photographs on her Instagram page, she told her 245,000 followers in the caption: "7th October, the day our lives completely changed.
"Introducing you all to our precious girl, Beau Emily Aveling, we are completely besotted, she is perfect in every single way.
"To my Adam, I didn’t think I could love you even more but seeing you with our daughter completely fills my heart."
She added: "Just want to say a massive thank you to Doncaster hospital, for going above and beyond to reassure me and to the amazing lady who stayed after her shift had finished to deliver our girl.
"Welcome to the world our darling Beau," Tayah wrote as she ended the caption.
The couple, announced the pregnancy back in April. Tayah said they hadn't been trying for a baby but are so excited about their new journey.
Adam and Tayah were due to get married for real later this year after Adam proposed in their final vow renewal on the show.
They had been planning to wed on the same date both their parents married, but, the arrival of their little one has prompted them to delay their plans.
"We were going to get married on the date that both our parents got married so we were going to keep that tradition going, but now the baby is due around then so that can’t happen," Adam told OK!
He added: "Otherwise Tayah would probably be going into labour walking down the aisle and be in the hospital in a wedding dress!"
The couple were quick to open up each other on MAFS, with Adam admitting he loved Tayah on the last night of their 'honeymoon'.
