Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2026 intruders Juliette Fava has clearly had it with her “theatrical” husband, Joel Moses, and has flat-out refused to do any of the tasks assigned to the couple on tonight’s episode.
After discovering a YouTube video of Joel drumming with dildos, Juliette was icked out by her husband well before jumping into their speed-round tasks assigned by the MAFS experts. When Joel started to read out the tasks which would include looking, touching and potentially kissing, Juliette declared it would be “inappropriate”.
But when her husband urged her to make more effort, Juliette eventually stormed off into the room and suggested he read the card to her through the door. At one point, Juliette told her husband she did not want to look into his “devil eyes” for the eye-gazing task. Then, when he moved on to reading out the details around the melting hug task, she told him (through the door,) “You do not have the privilege to touch me right now”.
On one hand, I think the tasks could have shown another side of Joel that she’s been trying to find under the theatrics. On the other hand, staring into someone’s eyes that you despise for three minutes would be painfully uncomfortable. The issue here, however, is how Joel was feeling throughout his attempts to move through the tasks with Juliette, telling MAFS producers, “I’m feeling battered, I’m feeling bruised.”
MAFS fans have agreed with Joel’s sentiment, agreeing that Juliette was being harsh. Some even compared his experience to former MAFS groom Luke Fourniotis.
When Joel said he would respect her boundaries, Juliette claimed that he purposely says “mean things” to upset her. This comment has confused MAFS fans more than the dildo drumming video, which some viewers wondering if there’s footage that’s been edited out.
Like most things when it comes to the MAFS edits, we’ll have to wait and see what both of them say in their post-show interviews, and take whoever’s word makes the most sense. But if this MAFS marriage make it to the couples retreat, I will be genuinely surprised. And also scared.
