In a devastating blow to the Married At First Sight (MAFS) experiment, fans are speculating that golden couple, 2025’s Rhi Disljenkovic and Jeff Gobbels, have split.
After weeks upon weeks of rumours swirling of an unexpected MAFS breakup, the pair have seemingly confirmed things with a series of questionable social media moves.
You see, while the pair haven’t gone public in confirming or denying the rumours, fans noticed that Rhi and Jeff are no longer following each other on Instagram.
It also appears Rhi has cleared any trace of her reality TV hubby from her page, and a week-old post has raised some eyebrows as it features a series of indirect self-reflection messages.
One message read, “Choosing relationships that feel calm and safe. Not confusing inconsistency or mixed signals for love.”
“Learning to enjoy my own company. Not needing constant noise, plans or validation to feel okay,” another read.
But, before anyone could kick up a fuss at the time, Jeff did comment on the post with support, simply writing, “love this”.
Photos of Rhi are still visible on the groom’s Instagram post. However, her tag appears to be missing from the posts.

At the time of writing, neither party have confirmed nor denied the rumours of a MAFS breakup.
Rumours of a split between the iconic pair first began to swirl in early May. But the 2025 bride put an end to the rumours in an interview with the MAFS Funny podcast, confirming “all is good” between them.

But despite their differences, they were the only match to make it out of the experiment, becoming one of the experiment’s golden couples alongside the likes of Jules Robinson and Cam Merchant, and Martha Kalifatidis and Michael Brunelli.
With whispers of a split sending the rumour mill into overdrive, that golden couple status might be gonezo for the season 12 couple.
