Alissa Fay‘s Married At First Sight (MAFS) run might’ve wrapped up with a dramatic little bow. However, the experience has left her questioning whether or not David Momoh‘s love for her was genuine.
There’s no doubt that Alissa and David were one hell of a rollercoaster. At the start, they were tipped to be one of the strongest couples, with David sticking by Alissa’s side throughout the drama.
However, towards the end, shit hit the fan following a rocky Homestays, a heated Final Commitment Ceremony, a failed Final Test, and a heated Final Dinner Party.

Things officially crashed and burned at the Final Vows, with David brutally walking away from Alissa before she could read hers out, leaving fans gooped and gagged.
Alissa Fay questions David Momoh’s motives at the Final Dinner Party
Reflecting on the experiment, and in particular the Final Dinner Party, which saw David get down on his knee a second time to win Alissa back, the 33-year-old has questioned whether or not her groom was genuine, admitting that it felt “calculated”.
“I was not in a good place, and I was really not doing very well,” Alissa told PEDESTIRAN.TV, referring to David’s antics at the Final Dinner Party.
“I feel like maybe it wasn’t as authentic as what I thought it was at the time.
“Watching back on it, it’s hard to know it was almost calculated.”
David Momoh insists that his love for Alissa Fay was genuine
Despite Alissa’s concerns, David told P.TV that the love was all real and that Alissa had supposedly said “I love you” back to him multiple times.
“I said [I love you] off camera. She had said it to me,” David shared.
“She said it on more than one occasion off camera.”

Ultimately, David chose to walk away at the Final Vows, because he felt like he was “fully disrespected” by Alissa at the Final Dinner Party.
“If someone disrespects me, love can only take you so far,” he dished.
“In that last Dinner Party, I was fully disrespected. As I said, it was worse than what it was. Like [how I was] treated, and it just told me everything I needed to know.”
Unfortunately, there’s no space for reconciliation for David and Alissa, with the 2026 bride already hard launching her new boyfriend, Ninja Warriors‘ Nathan Ryles.
David hasn’t revealed whether or not he’s found someone yet, but if there’s an opportunity to get him on The Bachelor, I would be 100 per cent behind that decision!
