Mae Muller feels like she can take on any challenge after performing at the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest last month.
The 25-year-old singer says the journey from being announced as the UK entry to taking to the stage in Liverpool on May 13 had it's "ups and downs" but was an experience she will never forget.
Global stars likes Sir Ringo Starr and Lana Del Rey backed Mae ahead of the final at Liverpool Arena, with the entire country becoming obsessed with the Gen Z icon's catchy entry tune, I Wrote A Song - with the track boasting over eight million streams on Spotify.
But the nation was left gutted when Mae found herself finishing in 25th place with a total of just 24 points - a placing many Eurovision fans felt was harsh and undeserved for such a talented act.
Reflecting on her Eurovision stint at Capital presents Summertime Ball with Barclaycard today, Mae gushed over the support she received from the public and revealed how are direct messages on social media look since becoming a household name.
"Probably the biggest thing I learned about myself [when representing the UK at Eurovision] is that I'm a strong ass woman!" Mae declared when chatting exclusively to the Mirror ahead of performing at Wembley Stadium.
"Honesty, I'm going to say that right now - It was such an amazing experience and I gave so much, the support was incredible and I feel so thankful for everybody, but it's not an easy feat.
"There were a lot of ups and a lot of downs and I think I came out of that. Now I think 'If I can do that, I can literally do anything!"
"I'm feeling stronger and like I can take on whatever."
Mae went on to add how lovely the support from fans has been, saying: "It's so much fun that this is what I do for a living."
The star's career is going from strength to strength but what about her personal life?
"Everyone says your DMs must be going crazy but it's like tumbleweed in there - honestly!" Mae confessed when the Mirror asked if any famous people have made a move on her recently.
"But I like it that way," she jokingly added. "Men stay away!"
Capital’s 2023 Summertime Ball kicked off early today (Sunday June 11) with a star-studded lineup including The Jonas Brothers, Calvin Harris and former One Direction singer Niall Horan set to perform later this evening.
For those not lucky enough to be at Wembley Stadium today, ITV will be broadcasting the best bits of the Summertime Ball on ITV next Saturday, June 17, from 7pm.
Lewis Capaldi was due to be taking to the stage too as one of the headline acts but pulled out earlier this month.
The Someone Like You singer, 26, explained to fans how he would be cancelling all his work commitments ahead of his Glastonbury appearance on June 24 in order to focus on his personal wellebing.
"It's been such an incredible time leading into this new album, and seeing all of the support from everyone has been beyond anything I could have ever dreamed of,” Lewis said in his statement.
"That said, the last few months have been full on both mentally and physically, I haven't been home properly since Christmas and at the moment I'm struggling to get to grips with it all."
Roman Kemp, who hosts Capital FM Breakfast, supported Lewis following his admission and praised the Scottish singer for prioritising and protecting his mental health.
