Madonna has been dubbed the 'Queen of Filters' as she confuses fans with her smooth new look.
The 63-year-old Queen of Pop has been concerning her Instagram followers with her youthful and wrinkle-free complexion as she shares heavily filtered photos on the app.
Madonna took to social media on Thursday to treat her 17.8 million followers to yet more selfies, as she showed off the latest designs from her friend Riccardo Tisci, the creative director of British fashion house Burberry.
“Thank you Riccardo @burberry ………. this new Collab is Supreme !!” she captioned the slideshow of snaps, leaving fans baffled over her ageless face.
Modelling a pink shirt from Burberry’s collaboration with sportswear brand Supreme, the Material Girl hitmaker posed for the camera, showing off her youthful complexion and slim figure.
Her fans were quick to heap praise on her in the comments, but some were left baffled by Madonna’s distinct lack of ageing, and heavy photo editing.
“Queen of filters,” one quipped.
“Queen of P[hotosh]op!” another joked.
“Amazing what plastic and photoshop can do aint it?” one fan teased, as another commented: “This filter looks great.”
“I was a longtime fan, she's turned into something unrecognizable!” one complained, while one devoted fan pleaded: “I've loved you for 35 years!!! Seriously, no more surgery please.”
Others urged her to show herself without any filters, as one fan posted: “Now show unedited pics, Queen.”
Despite being at the centre of rumours regarding cosmetic surgery, Madonna has so far refused to confirm or deny if she’s gone under the knife.
“I am certainly not against plastic surgery,” she said in 2012. “However, I am absolutely against having to discuss it.”
It was also rumoured she had bum implants after she showed off a pert derriere during a New Year’s Eve gig in 2019, but she did not comment on the reports.
