Madonna is deeply "affected" by comments made about her changing face ahead of her tour, it has been reported.
The singer has come under fire recently, being accused of having plastic surgery due to some fans thinking she looks different.
The 64-year-old sported a different look at the 2023 Grammy Awards in February, with Madonna slamming the critical comments she received.
Despite allegedly denying plastic surgery rumours, it's thought that Madonna was upset by the comments.
Ahead of her sold out Celebration tour, Madonna is determined to return to her usual look, an insider has said.
Her first concert is set to kick off on July 15.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, the source said: "Despite what people think, the criticism over her drastically different appearance does affect her."
They the added that Madonna is currently undergoing procedures that will take her back to her natural look.
The source added: "She sees and hears what people say about her and, for the tour, she wants to look more like herself again for her fans."
It has been rumoured that Madonna won't be alone when she steps out on her 80 date tour.
The mother-of-six is reportedly planning to include her children in the shows, Lourdes, 26, Rocco, 22, David, 17, Mercy 17, and 10-year-old twins Stella and Estere.
Madonna is thought to be sparing no expense when it comes to this tour, due to it potentially being her last.
The source said: "Madonna is really turning it out. She is in incredible shape and is going to kill it with this tour. It may be her last tour, so she wants to make it perfect. She is incredible shape and her body is sick."
They went on to add: "This is her labor of love. Her perfectionism is driving everyone up the wall but she does not care. The crew is working their a** off because everyone wants to make her happy. She has no issues whatsoever with firing someone at the drop of a hat."
Madonna will perform in several countries in North America and Europe from July 2023 until January 2024.
Madonna's reps have been contacted for comment.
